A Memory of Us By Ileana Giles

Updated: Jun 28

I had a memory of us

running down a neighborhood

We kept a good pace

We smiled at each other

Today I had a memory of us

I threw some water at you, and I ran away

You followed me and gave me a playful pat

You then threw a bit of water to my face

It felt cold and you got me off guard

I like our playful moment

We kept a good pace

We smile at each other

I had a memory of us

Today it was sunny and

All I can replay is us running again soon

Can we make another memory of us running together?
